Charli Howard is a curve model, author and body positivity campaigner.
Charli first caught the attention of the world’s media when she wrote an open letter to her former model agent. The letter went viral as she challenged them on industry sizing and how the modelling industry as a whole is responsible for creating irresponsible body ideals, which received global pick up.
Using her platform Charli co-founded the charity ‘All Woman Project’ providing support, education, resources for girls and women around the world. Charli visits schools to bring their message of self-love to young girls and the leaders of tomorrow.
She also published her debut book ‘Misfit’ in February 2018 (Penguin Random House) which addresses her own personal challenges with her body and mental health. In July 2018 Charli penned her second book, a children’s novel ‘Splash’ and she is currently writing her third book as well as developing a podcast.
Charli splits her time between London and New York where she has carved out a career in curve modelling. She has fronted campaigns for leading brands including Redken, Good American, Free People and Pat McGrath Labs.
Charli’s mission is to drive awareness around diversity in the fashion industry as well as helping people with mental health by speaking out about her own challenges.
