STEVE JONES
TV Presenter, Steve Jones is from Glamorgan in Wales and is best known for presenting T4 alongside Miquita Oliver, Alexa Chung and Rick Edwards.
A former model, Steve travelled the world working for high profile labels such as Versace, Armani, Ralph Lauren, Adidas, and Coca Cola amongst others.
His first presenting job was for THE POP FACTORY AWARDS and it was soon after that Steve decided to focus on presenting. His natural charm and enthusiasm was seen on C5’s 99 THINGS TO DO BEFORE YOU DIE and C4’s CARLING LIVE 24 which launched him into mainstream TV. It was only a matter of time before the industry noticed, and he soon joined the T4 strand for C4, becoming an instant hit with viewers. Steve has been with T4 for over five years and has covered fantastic music and film specials as well as the annual T4 ON THE BEACH festival. He recently flew to LA to interview Will Smith and got an unprecedented 40 minutes with the Hollywood Star (a world first) and has also just returned from Austria where he was filming a James Bond movie special.
The 18th July will be Steve's film debut. He stars in ANGUS, THONGS AND PERFECT SNOGGING playing Jem – a handsome hunk of a handyman who causes quite a stir. The film is directed by Gurinder Chadha who shot to fame with Bend it like Beckham.
Steve's other TV project WHEN WOMEN RULE THE WORLD is scheduled for a Friday night late night slot on C4 in September. Filmed in a secret Caribbean village, Steve will front the UK version of the hugely successful US format. The series sees eight women taking sole charge of a group of ten men and challenges the women to build their perfect female crafted community. The men must do whatever the women order them to, with the only absolute law on the island being that 'women rule, men obey'. The women select one man to be eliminated from the contest each week with the winning male winning a cash prize at the end of series. The series has been created by the producers behind Joe Millionaire, Temptation Island and Beauty and The Geek.
TAMSIN EGERTON
You will recognise Tamsin from ST. TRINIAN’S as Chelsea - the beautiful, leggy blonde. Only nineteen and incredibly stylish, Tamsin has two great new projects to talk about which are all out towards the end of the year.
She stars as Flora in KNIFE EDGE with Hugh Bonneville which is going to be one of this year’s great British thrillers. A successful Wall Street trader returns to England with her new husband and five-year-old son, but their new start together turns into a nightmare when they move into a country house which contains a terrible secret. Release date as yet unknown but will be this year.
Tamsin plays the title role of OCTAVIA in an ITV drama based on the best selling novel by Jilly Cooper. Based in 1970s Britain, \"Octavia\" charts the schemes of the title character to steal her friend\'s man. Again, no confirmed tx yet but it’s expected at the end of summer.
NOEL CLARKE
Noel is an extremely talented actor/director/writer who won a Laurence Olivier Award for \"Most Promising Newcomer\" for his performance in the play, WHERE DO WE LIVE, at the Royal Court Theatre in 2003.
He has written, directed and also stars in his latest feature, ADULTHOOD, which revisits characters seven years on from his previous hit movie, KIDULTHOOD. The greatly anticipated ADULTHOOD pushes home the moral lesson that crime doesn\'t pay and is tipped to be a cult British movie in 2008.
In March he was seen playing Michael in WEST 10 LDN, a cutting edge drama for BBC3 which he also wrote. His writing credits also include TORCHWOOD.
You will recognise him from DR. WHO in which he played Mickey Smith for 13 episodes.
ZOE TELFORD
Zoe has two exciting feature films out in June. The first is THE WAITING ROOM which opens on the 6th June and co-stars Anne-Marie Duff and Rupert Graves. Set in SW London, this is an intelligent and distinctive film about love, fate and being ready to meet the right person.
Her other film is British comedy BONO, BOB, BRIAN AND ME with Rhys Thomas and Steve Mangan.
She has been cast in a three parter for ITV1 called PLACE OF EXECUTION alongside Juliet Stevenson. Filming starts this month.
Zoe has been appearing on UK screens for over a decade. Impressive TV credits include ABSOLUTE POWER, MARPLE: THE SITTAFORD MYSTERY, TEACHERS. Films include Woody Allen\'s MATCH POINT, THE PAINTED VEIL.
MIQUITA OLIVER
Miquita started her presenting career at a very young age - she was still studying for her GCSE\'s at the time.
She landed her first gig in 2000 presenting with Simon Amstell on C4\'s Flagship music show POPWORLD. The dynamic duo were known for their great rapport and sharp wit and the show won several awards. They presented together for an astonishing 6 years.
A firm favourite in the T4 family, she has spent the last few years hosting the main show (following June Sarpong\'s departure) presenting with Steve Jones and Rick Edwards. This month, Miquita will be seen covering the Cannes Films Festival from the 15th-19th May. She is also hosting the O2 WIRELESS FESTIVAL kicking off on 5th July. T4 ON THE BEACH gets bigger and better every year and 2008 will be no exception, with Miquita and the T4 crew giving us coverage on the 20th July from Weston Super Mare. The very popular V FESTIVAL is back on 18th August and boasts an incredible line up. Miquita and Alexa Chung host that for T4.
Miquita has also presented shows for Radio 1 and 6 Music and is working on a brand new prime time C4 show to be aired around September time. The format is fresh and innovative and is Miquita\'s brainchild, she worked with execs on the idea and is really excited about getting going.
RICK EDWARDS
Rick continues to present the flagship music show FRESHLY SQUEEZED on Channel 4 alongside Alexa Chung. Rick also presents several music shows on E4 and presents on T4 throughout the weekend.
His greatest passion has to be film and he has been part of some major T4 movie specials. Particular highlights have been PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 3, BEOWULF, TRANSFORMERS, RATATOUILLE, BOURNE ULTIMATUM and STARDUST.
Mr Edwards has many hidden talents. He studied Natural Sciences at Cambridge University and has tutored A-Level Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Art. He is a great swimmer once beating the World’s No 3 Triathlete in a sprint.
In April, Rick started his regular weekend slot on XFM and can be heard playing his favourite tunes every Saturday from 6-9pm on 104.9fm.
ALEXA CHUNG
THE WALL is currently being shown on BBC3 hosted by Alexa and Rhys Thomas (C4\'s Star Stories) until 27th May. The show features an ensemble of rising comedy talent and celebrity guests with sketches, interviews and music performed live in front of a studio audience.
Alexa is also hosting this summer\'s V FESTIVAL for C4. The prestigious festival kicks off Saturday 16th August and has a stellar line up including Muse, Kings of Leon and Amy Winehouse.
Ms Chung is also filming a documentary about ethical fashion (as yet untitled) for the BBC and is in talks to present a new prime time fashion show.
She continues to present C4\'s daily music show FRESHLY SQUEEZED, weekday mornings at 7am and features regularly as part of the T4 weekend team (alongside Steve Jones, Rick Edwards and Miquita Oliver).
Alexa has been recognised for her unique style and is one of the top ten best dressed women in the world according to several industry polls.
GEORGIA KING
Georgia is a stunning young actress with a number of high profile new film/television projects coming up.
These include a fantastic role as ‘Harriet’ in the romantic comedy WILD CHILD with Emma Roberts, niece of Julia Roberts. The film has its UK release on 1st August.
Georgia can also be seen in the BBC Film THE DUCHESS alongside Keira Knightley and Ralph Fiennes and has just finished filming TANNER HALL, a coming of age story set in New England that offers a vivid peek into the private world of an all-girls boarding school.
LITTLE DORRIT has started filming and is the eagerly anticipated adaptation of a Charles Dickens classic from the very gifted Andrew Davies - set to be the new Bleak House. Expected towards the end of the year.
ALESHA DIXON
Alesha is currently filming a challenging documentary for BBC Three called LEAVE MY BITS ALONE (working title). It will be a balanced debate about body image and will air in the Summer.
She is back in the studio working on a brand new album for the UK and working with the producer credited with Girls Aloud\'s amazing success, Brian Higgins/Xenomania. The record, as yet untitled, will be due for UK release later this year. Meanwhile, her first solo album is selling well in Japan and she has already visited the country twice this year on promotional tours.
Strictly Come Dancing was nominated for 2 Television BAFTAS at the recent awards which took place in London on 20th April.
EMMA GRIFFITHS
Emma was recently a judge on PICK ME MTV! a nationwide talent search to find a new MTV News Presenter.
2008 has been a fantastic year for the Brummie Beauty having already presented THE BRITS and EMPIRE FILM AWARDS for ITV2, THE BAFTAs for American Network E! (alongside Ryan Seacrest) and a host of entertainment programmes for ITV Mobile.
I\'M A CELEBRITY GET ME OUT OF HERE.....NOW recently picked up an industry award for best Reality show and Emma and Matt look likely to host the popular show again this year.
Emma will marry her fiancé Matt Willis this summer.
ALFIE ALLEN
Alfie is receiving rave reviews for his role as Alan Strang in Peter Schaffer\'s EQUUS. Alfie took over the role from Daniel Radcliffe and is currently on a Nationwide tour. He will reach London\'s Richmond Theatre on May 19th.
The 18th April saw the release of FLASHBACKS OF A FOOL, this brilliant movie starring Daniel Craig, Olivia Williams and Felicity Jones is about a fading Hollywood star (Craig) looking back at the days of his youth as he returns home from his best friend\'s funeral.
CASUALTY 1907 was a great success fro the BBC – the drama gave us a gritty insight into life at the Royal London Hospital 100 years ago and also starred Charity Wakefield.
HATTIE MORAHAN
Following on from her success in Sense & Sensibility alongside Charity Wakefield, Hattie is performing alongside Benedict Cumberbatch in THE CITY - a three-hander from acclaimed director Katie Mitchell and written by Martin Crimps. The play premiered at The Royal Court on 29th April and runs until 7th June.
ALEX ZANE
Alex has built up a tremendously loyal fan base for his fantastic XFM Breakfast Show (weekdays from 6am-10am). He proved very popular with the ELLE STYLE AWARDS audience in February when he joined his former Popworld co-star Alexa Chung.
BURN GORMAN
Burn stars alongside Elijah Wood and John Hurt in THE OXFORD MURDERS which was released on 25th April. The story is set at Oxford University where Professor Arthur Seldom (Hurt) and a grad student (Wood) work together to try and stop a potential series of murders seemingly linked by mathematical symbols.
Burn is better known for his role as Dr Owen Harper in BBC2\'s hit drama TORCHWOOD. Previous credits include \'Guppy\' in BLEAK HOUSE and more recently \'THE CURSE of STEPTOE\' for BBC4.
