A hugely talented actor, Burn is currently filming his most exciting project to date, Batman: The Dark Knight Rises directed my Chris Nolan. He'll star alongside Tom Hardy and Christian Bale. The film is set to be released in July 2012.

Other notable projects in 2011 have included roles in acclaimed TV dramas 'The Hours' and Martina Coles 'Runaway' for Sky as well as a role in Rowan Atkinson's Johnny English - in cinemas now.

Burn wowed audiences as the terrifying Bill Sykes in the West-End production of the award-winning musical OLIVER! at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Other career highlights included the role of Dr Owen Harper in TORCHWOOD which was top of the viewings pole on BBC America and Ray Galton in THE CURSE OF STEPTOE; a one-off drama for the BBC.

2008 brought another fantastic project for Burn, he starred alongside Elijah Wood and John Hurt in THE OXFORD MURDERS.

Burn is perhaps best known for his role as Guppy in the brilliant BLEAK HOUSE. His impressive film credits include Matthew Vaughn's LAYER CAKE as well as PENELOPE which also stars Christina Ricci and Reese Witherspoon.

Burn was born in Hollywood to British parents and moved to the UK as a child.
