Alexa is a supremely talented TV presenter and model with an already impressive list of credits given her short time on screen.
She is currently based in New York where she recently fronted her own show for MTV. The magazine style show, IT'S ON WITH ALEXA CHUNG, replaced the hugely popular TRL. Attracting A-list stars such as Shakira, Alicia Keys, Gerard Butler, Cameron Diaz, Jack Black, Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler, P Diddy and Blink 182 to her sofa every week, Alexa wowed audiences and executives alike over two successful series.
Often referred to as a global style icon, Alexa has appeared on the covers of Vogue, Harpers Bazaar and ELLE in the UK, Jalouse in France and WWD in America. Following on from her successful column for The Independent newspaper, Alexa has also been made a contributing editor for British.
Before leaving the UK in Spring 2010, she presented several high profile shows including FROCK ME which ran on Channel 4 at the end of 2008 and returned for a 2nd series in May this year.. She joined hot young designer Henry Holland which had a fast-paced, spontaneous magazine format which each week explored a youth culture trend from the worlds of fashion and music - everything from club chic to rock n roll jeans and vintage - that linked celebrity guests, bands, regular guests and VTs. Each show looked at the theme's influence from it's roots right up to which designers are rocking the look on the catwalk and how to achieve it without breaking the bank.
She was also the high fashion correspondent for GOK'S FASHION FIX and co-hosted BBC Three's comedy and music showcase THE WALL.
Alexa formed part of the T4 presenting family and started presenting POPWORLD in April 2006 alongside Alex Zane, taking over from previous presenters Miquita Oliver and Simon Amstell. Prior to this, Chung appeared in music videos for artists such as The Streets, Holly Valance and Westlife as well as a "scripted reality TV" micro-series for Fashion TV called SHOOT ME opposite Yasmin Le Bon, and numerous commercials and editorial shoots.
Fashion wise, Alexa has featured in campaigns for DKNY, New Look and Pepe Jeans with many more offers in the pipeline. Her recent collaboration with Madewell in the US received praise from many top names fashion, including Anna Wintour.
